A bespoke online shop for students and teachers
A bespoke online shop for students and teachers
An ageing website turned into an online shop for digital teaching resources, books and magazines, with separate accounts for students and teachers.
01 How I work
Before I design anything, I need to understand your business - what you do and what makes you different from everyone else doing something similar. It's usually just a chat over a call, and it shapes everything that follows.
Next, I look at what's already out there in your industry - what other brands are doing, what's been done to death and what's missing. That shows me where your brand has room to stand out.
I'll put together 2 or 3 initial directions, each with a logo concept, colours and fonts. It's about finding the right feel before we get into the detail.
Once you've picked a direction you're happy with, I refine it - tightening up the logo, locking in the colours and fonts, and making sure it all works together.
Your brand needs to look right wherever it's used. I'll put together logo variations, colour codes, font files and a simple set of guidelines, so you (or anyone you work with) can use it consistently.
You'll get everything in one place, plus a walkthrough of how to use it. It's yours to take and run with - your website, socials, van, business cards, wherever.

03 Getting started
Getting to know you and your business - what you do, what makes you different, and what you want people to feel when they see your brand.
One page: scope, price, dates. Nothing starts until you've said yes to it.
I'll put together a small number of initial directions, then refine the one you're excited about into a full identity system.
Logo files, colours, fonts, and a simple guide to using it all. Yours to take and run with, wherever your business shows up.
04 Straight answers
Anything missing? Ask me directly and I'll give you a straight answer, not a sales one.
Either or both! Some clients don't want or need a website whereas others want branding built in as part of a bigger project. It's totally up to you.
This depends on the scope of work and what you're looking to have designed. Typically, it would be your new logo and its variations, colours, fonts, and a simple guide showing how to use it all consistently.
Branding projects start from £480. I charge £30 an hour, and you'll get a fixed price once we've agreed what's included, so there are no surprises.
I'll usually put together a small number (2 or 3) rather than one single option, so you've got something real to react to before we narrow it down.
That's not part of the core branding package, but it's something we can talk about - get in touch and I'll let you know what's possible.
A couple of lines is plenty. I reply to everything within a working day, even if the answer is “I'm not the right fit”.
